Worlds Largest Casino, The Venetian Macao-Resort Hotel Deploys Bioscrypt's 3D Facial Recognition

The world’s largest casino is using 3D facial recognition technology to authenticate 12,000 of its staff at the start of each shift. Thirteen of Bioscrypt’s VisionAccess 3D face readers have been installed at the staff entrance of The Venetian Macao in China, and are now used to process each worker through the turnstiles in less than a second.

3D Recognition Puts Australia Zoo Staff In The Picture

The world renowned Australia Zoo on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast hinterland has installed a Vision Access 3D facial recognition system to control access to its administration building.

The system will help ensure a high level of security and provide peace of mind for Australia Zoo office staff. Zoo management is examining the possibility of linking staff access data into its timesheet and payroll system to streamline administration systems.

Taksec Solutions launches Vision Access 3D facial recognition system at Security 2007, Darling Harbour.

TakSec Solutions PTY LTD provides a range of biometric technologies, including 3D facial recognition, in Australian and New Zealand. Products are from North American manufacturer Bioscrypt.

Managing Director Trevor May says, “The response was tremendous, the trend to non-invasive biometric authentication such as facial recognition is gaining considerable momentum”. Mr May also adds “It’s pleasing to come away from exhibitions with real leads and orders”
